Delete your Ultimate Coders parent account

How to ask us to delete the account you use to sign in to the Ultimate Coders parent app, what we delete, and what we have to keep.

This page covers the Ultimate Coders parent app for iPhone and Android, published by Ultimate Coders Franchising Inc., and the account you use to sign in to it. You do not need to be signed in to make the request, and it costs nothing.

How to request deletion

Send us one email. We reply to every request, including the ones we cannot action.

  1. Write to us from the address on your account

Start a new email from the address you use to sign in. Matching the sender against the account is how we confirm the request is yours, so a message from any other address means we have to write back and verify you before we can start.

  2. Send it to [email protected] with the subject "Delete my account"

Use that exact subject line. It is what routes the message to the person who handles these.

  3. Tell us the name on the account and what you want removed

Include the first and last name on the account, and say whether you want the whole account deleted or only particular information corrected or removed. If you are not sure, ask for the whole account and we will explain what that means for you before we act.

Email us to delete your account

Opens your email app with the subject line filled in.

What happens after you send it

  • We confirm we have your request, usually within two business days.
  • If we cannot match your email address to an account, we ask you for one more detail before going any further. We will not delete an account on an unverified request.
  • We complete the deletion within 30 days of confirming the request is yours.
  • We write to you when it is done, and we tell you if anything had to be kept and why.

What we delete and what we keep

Deleting your account removes you and your access. It does not erase the record that your child attended our classes, because we are required to keep some of that.

Deleted

  • Your parent profile: first and last name, email address and phone number
  • Your sign-in credentials, including your password
  • Your saved contact and communication preferences, and any marketing subscriptions
  • Your app session data, including signed-in devices and push notification tokens
  • Any payment method you saved in the app

Kept

  • Your child's enrolment, attendance and progress records, as the record of classes they attended
  • Invoices, payments and refunds, as financial and tax records
  • Correspondence we need to resolve an open dispute or to meet a legal obligation
  • Usage data that is aggregated or anonymised and can no longer be linked to you

How long we keep what we keep

We keep those records for as long as the purpose we collected them for requires, and for as long as tax, accounting and other law requires us to keep them. After that they are deleted. Our privacy policy sets this out under “How Long We Store Personal Data”. Read the privacy policy.

Before you ask us to delete it

Deleting your account does not cancel an enrolment
If your child is enrolled in a class or you are on a payment plan, cancel that with your location first. Otherwise the enrolment stands and the billing continues after your account is gone.
It cannot be undone
We cannot restore a deleted account. Signing up again creates a new one, with none of your previous information in it.
You can ask for less than deletion
If you only want to stop hearing from us, unsubscribe from any marketing email instead. If something on your account is wrong, ask us to correct it. Both are quicker than starting over.

Other ways to reach us

Email is the fastest route, but you can also reach our privacy officer by phone or post.
